The Izaguirre is a live-edge bench suitable for any indoor or outdoor living space. It is made from a beautiful single piece of Parota hardwood (Enterolobium cyclocarpum) from Mexico. This piece is particularly rich in color and is genuinely stunning. It was specifically chosen to be handcrafted into a stylish modern bench. 

Parota is a tropical hardwood native to Central and South America. It is known for its striking colors, fiddle-backs, swirls and “quilted” appearance. It is very lightweight, but still very much a hardwood. Being lightweight makes it very easy to maneuver around the home.

The Baldé is a strikingly beautiful live-edge console table. It is made from a single piece of Cocobolo (Dalbergia retusa) tropical hardwood from Mexico. This exceptionally tough hardwood slab was specially chosen by Made In Del Mar for its shape and magnificent color. As was expected, it did take some extra love and extra elbow grease to transform this tough wood into the elegant console table pictured above.

Cocobolo is a rare tropical hardwood native to Central America. Cocobolo is stronger and denser than Brazilian Rosewood. It can rapidly blunt tools when it is worked in the shop and can be a challenging medium to work with. But the extra effort is well rewarded!

This one of a kind side table was handcrafted from oak butcher block. The legs on this piece have been given a slight weathered look which has been frozen in time by 6 layers of polyurethane. This piece is very sturdy and can function as a small table or stool.
